Fan's View
"Like many tracks in Britain, Croft is fairly flat, which shouldn't mean you can see much, but the people who built the circuit in 1997 found a way around this problem, by building huge spectator bankings. Sit yourself on one of these and you're sure of a great view, and can see up to half the track. The last two tight corners (including the tightest corner in Britain) are good for clashes, and bumper-to-bumper action. For speed, sit just before these corners.

My personal top spot is on the banking at Clervaux. You can see the cars coming out of the hairpin, pitting, coming out again, and speeding round the first 4 or 5 corners up to Tower bend. Motorsport is popular in North Yorkshire, so make sure you get there early, as traffic problems are not uncommon at this circuit."

Fan's View: Getting there by public transport - Contributed by "Tom Jones"
"Train to Darlington, then bike it to Croft on Tees (brown signs) - simple route out, mostly billiard table flat, watch for speeding motorists. Darlington is nearest big place but beware - a mechanic got lamped in a club a couple of years ago! Camping is a free for all and there is nothing to do at the circuit in the evenings other than ride your bikes round the circuit (everyone else does - it's a bit of a game!) or go to the pub down the road (but avoid the fish and don't forget your pass to get back in)."
